Description

June 25, 2017 Here’s a closer look at the key harp from my previous post. The rows of keys are more visible here. The 6 white screws are for tightening the strings and tuning the instrument. It has a somewhat mellow sound. These fellows sang, too. Accompanied by their instruments. And before anyone gets the idea to call the glasses anachronistic, the Romans knew about optics and fitted glasses based on trial and error. Just like we did up until some 100 years ago! Enjoy, even though you can't hear the music!
