This fountain is called "Öresund". Öresund is the passage of water between Denmark and Sweden. The fountain is located on Gustav Adolf's Torg (square). This square is half the size of Stortorget, and is often full of people, even after dark.
This statue is by Gerhard Henning, made in 1926 but unveiled in 1934. Materials - bronze and granite.
Since there is no genre for art or sculpture this is placed under architecture.

Most impressive and a good shot. I would have sworn the beautiful fountain was made of black onyx. And I recently read an article that stated that the Tyrannosaurus Rex was an extremely slow runner. Any faster then its legs would snap and collapse from the hard impact. The only reason it could catch its prey is because they were even slower and lumbering. Keep up the good work.
