Description
We soon arrived at the Schuylerville Cemetery and found the monument.
If you followed yesterday's link, there is not much more I can add. This is a nice pile of brick and stone, so if you do the battlefield tour, take this in. After all, the battle ended around here.

A few more shots of this monument and then onward... no, not to our destination. When we arrived, we found that the state was still closed for the season. We will find something else to mosey around in.

I read an Osprey book about the battle of Saratoga. I was amazed at how spread out it was, and constantly moving about to get around the opponent's flanks by both sides. It sure was an upgrade to my Revolutionary War studies from junior high school! Keep up the good work! :-)
