This is a fine statue, though larger than lifesize, it stands with visitors because it is on ground level. It located just before and to the west of the main monument on Little Round Top -- the castle (shadow just visible to right edge of image).
The general is looking towards Devils Den. We'll see a bit of that in the next few images along with the terrain just before the Round Tops.
