I apologize if my images are not always crisp and clear; re-sizing sometimes affects the png tube's sharpness.
I'm doing this for fun when I get a few moments to myself while Mom is napping. I don't get days off, so this is all I can do.
images in my art are used with permission.
thanks for looking, comments and feedback... your support means a lot to me.

I read your words when you posted them, and I truly understand that it's not easy for you to do whole art pieces while you care-take for a sick parent. I've known a few other people who've been through this, and it's never easy. You have to know that your images are very 'present' and tactile, they pop off the page; you probably want to do a lot more with them, which I understand; but know that they have real clarity and inner presence---you do a lot in a small amount of time.
This piece is case in point: Such clarity in everything: The cacti, the sand and rocks, the mist---as if this is on top of the world, and there are clouds up here. And the planets and what appears to be a flying saucer, and then the woman: Love her greens, and her bronze skin, and the light in her joints and on her breasts, and that heavy stare. So much in her stare. Another packed vision, which is clear as a bell, while it also makes us know that we're looking in on a private, mysterious world. Beautifully done, Barb.
And, to your thanks to all of us, I return the words, I'm very, very grateful for all your support and care throughout the year, and the positive glowing spirit you give to me and everyone else. As the year closes, thank you: it means the world to me, and I'm glad I and others can give it back.
