Description

Hello dear friends, This are indeed my roots, because I was born, and live in the land of "the house of Orange". ;-) And what you see here is the root of my Sansevieria. I edited the photo with a filter, but I retained the original color. It was such a surprise to me that, when repotting this plant, I discovered these brightly colored roots. I took the photo with some soil on the top, so that is the brown on the photo. In Dutch: Sanseveria, in English: Sanseviera, but there are many names for this plant, f.e.: mother-in-law's tongue, devil's tongue, jinn's tongue, bow string hemp, snake plant and snake tongue. Anyway I hope you like my Orange roots. Thank you for your visit, and for your comments on my previous uploads, it's very much appreciated. I know that I'm behind with giving comments to you, I'll do my best to improve my life. With love to all of you.

Oooooh! I thought it was a boogy monster from inner space! Then I read your fantastic description. So, now I am (hopefully) a bit more educated! Thanks! Keep up the good work! :-)

I love the way you have made something so seemingly ordinary into something fantastically special. I will never look at Sanseviera the same way. Instead I will wonder how soon I can re-pot it so I can see the orange roots :).

That was a great find Mies, I would never have thought they would be so brightly colored. Your roots look as if they come from a different world. 😀
