Description

Thanks for all the replies everyone. "So your great grandfather changed the history of that entire region of the galaxy by saving that woman's life?" V'reenda asked as they left the room where her adoptive mother, Benda, was kept in stasis. "Yes. By saving her, he prevented the United States from entering the Second World War. Which brought about Germany's victory. But Uncles Spock and Bones restored the true timeline by seeing to it that she still died. So that is why I can't turn you in. Because I had a very strong feeling that if this Master of your's died, billions of others would, as well." "Now, why did your people run this embezzlement scheme?" Joshua asked V'reenda. "And what would you do with these ships?" "There is a war going on, a secret war," She said after a short pause. "I guess you could say it's a Sith civil war." "So they didn't die out when Palpatine and Vader died?" "No!" V'reenda laughed. "There are several groups out there that call themselves Sith. Some are really just cults. But some are real." "What makes your Sith different?" "We don't believe in the use of terror as a weapon. Indiscriminate killing has always lead to the defeat of the Sith. Sideous is proof of that. The more terror he spread, the more he lost control of his Empire," V'reenda stopped and thought for a moment. "For instance, he killed the representative to the Senate from the Khamas system and most of his family for not bowing to him. Used the Force to rip them apart while one daughter was forced to watch. That assured that the people of Khamas supported the rebellion. And the Kamasan are a mean bunch when roused." "He sounds insane," Kirk replied. "He was. He was very strong in the Force. But he lacked the strength of will to keep it from controlling him." Joshua stopped her when they got to the restaurant where Xin was waiting. Pulling his link from his pocket he held it up. "Tell you what I'm going to do," He began. "I can install a program into your brain that can teach you just what your brain and body are capable of. And you will be amazed at what you can do," V'reenda stepped back and eyed the device warily. "No, I can't read your thoughts unless you allow it. And since you don't know how to do that yet, it's not going to happen," Joshua then told her of the things she was capable of. If what he said was true, then doing this will make her a truly powerful Sith. Several minutes later, V'reenda stood in stunned silence at what she'd learned. The Master was right. What she learned will make her very powerful. The most powerful Sith ever. "Now let's step into Varuffi's here. There's some one waiting for me," When they entered the restaurant, the Sith saw a helmetless Mandalorian standing by the counter. V'reenda was surprised at the hostility coming from the cute girl. She was also surprised at how strong she was in the Force. She gave V'reenda a withering glance. "Who's your friend?" She asked icily. V'reenda recognized the language as Latin. It was one of those that they were pre-programmed to speak. "Xin Orinie, I would like to introduce you to my cousin, V'reenda," Joshua said in a false jovial tone. "She's Ami's niece." V'reenda smiled when she realized what was driving the emotions of these two: lust! There was a very strong sexual attraction between these two. Uncommonly strong. Kirk seemed to have no problem controlling this urge. But it was taking this Xin every ounce of will power she had to control herself. This could get very interesting, she thought. "That girl is very annoying," V'reenda said as Xin ran past them and into the waiting troop carrier. "I bet she's a real pain in the ass." "You have no idea," Joshua said with a smile. "Just how much of a pain in the ass she is!" He then explained about how the two were imprinted on each other. "That explains the lust I feel coming from the two of you. It is very strong." "Again, you have no idea," Kirk replied once more. "What does she do? I heard you call her corporal." "She's a Marine, and one of Admiral Ackbar's new bodyguards," Joshua shook his head slowly. "And I for one will be glad when that young temptress is gone." "Does she hit on you often?" V'reenda asked, grinning. "Yes, and it never ends!" Joshua Kirk said as they entered the carrier. Seconds later, it lifted and was gone, two pairs of eyes watching as they left.

City on the Edge of Forever reference, nice. I love Joan Collins. The Sith are so power crazed it's almost juvenile like Skywalker's downfall. Joshua there must've taken a few cold sonic showers.

Apparently the First Order didn't learn from the experiences of the Sith…

Another fascinating entry in the story, and excellent render as well.
