"He is much more than that," Asajj Ventress told her husband, staring at the troop carrier as it flew away. "He is very strong in the Force. All three of them are. But that could change," The woman turned her blue eyes to stare into Alpha's brown. "But which ever side she chooses, it will have gained a powerful servant." "If you say so, my love. "Butler will pay for all he's done," The former Advance Recon Commando said. "We didn't make that girl and raise her for some revenge seeker to kidnap her." The man asked. "The Force is warning me. There is someone here who wishes us harm." "Asajj?" Alpha leaned over to whisper in Asajj's ear. "Most of the galaxy wishes us harm, my dear." "No," She said after giving him a quick kiss. "They wish me harm. I'm the wanted war criminal, not you." "To hurt you, they'll have to go through me. Now let's go." Alpha and Asajj were just approaching the corridor intersection when they heard the sound of a blaster firing two stunner bolts, followed by the sound of two bodies hitting the floor. As they peered around the corner, they saw a woman inputting a code to open the hospital room that his brother Manna was staying in, a blaster in her hand. At her feet lay two officers from Coruscant's SecFor. Alpha pulled his own blaster. His wife stepped past him and raised her hand. As she did, the merc's weapon was jerked from her grasp and flew to Asajj. The blue skinned woman spun about, her left hand moving for the holdout blaster in her boot. "You go for that weapon and I'll blast your head off!" Alpha said menacingly as he aimed his weapon at her head. "Get on your knees and put your hands on your head." "I'll check on Manna," Asajj said. Entering the code, she stepped into the room. A few minutes later she exited. "He says Butler is working out of Shendo Station on Khamas." "The single M Khamas, or the double M Khammas?" Alpha enquired. "Single," Asajj said with a smile. "I bet there's a lot of confusion surrounding the planets of Khammas and Khamas." "It wouldn't be so bad if they were in different systems, but they're not," Alpha said as he pulled his comlink from his gun belt. "Seto!" "Yo, what do you need Boss?" A woman's voice asked. "We need an immediate extraction at our current location." "Are you sure about that?" A Wookiee's voice cut in. "We'll be in for a lot of trouble." "Ha!" Alpha laughed into the comlink. "Like we're not already in trouble." "True," The Wookiee growled. "We'll be there in fifteen minutes." "Landing pad eleven. We'll be waiting. And we're bringing a guest. So have a cell ready." "It will be done," The woman said before he shut his comlink off. "You're coming with us," Alpha said in a voice that assured the mercenary that she had no say in the matter. "You are going to tell us everything you know about Blade Butler's base of operations. And I mean every last thing. Let's go." They took a lift for the roof. Once there, they waited for their ship, Lost Soul. In ten minutes it came hurtling from the sky to hover over the platform. The three ran as the loading ramp dropped. At that moment, two officers from SecFor ran from a door on the far side of the landing pad. One was yelling into his comlink and pointing at the ship. When they saw the others, they went for their weapons. Alpha, his weapon now in his hand again, fired two shots. The officers fell to the concrete, unconscious. As soon as they were in the ship, the ramp retracted and they rocketed away from Coruscant. After stripping the prisoner of her equipment and locking her in one of the two cells on board the Bantha class assault shuttle, the pair went to the bridge. "Khamas with a single M, Jeto," Alpha said to his pilot, a Devaronian female. "How long a flight is it?" After several seconds with the navacomputer she held up three fingers. "Good. That'll give us plenty of time to find out what our guest knows.
