My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

With Brook Benton singing softly in the background, I can even hear the raindrops on the window glass :) Your photo with a bit of just right postwork sets a very comfortable mood.

It looks to be very cosy inside just watching the rain falling. A super night capture Tara with a lovely finish.

A rainy night in Georgia A rainy night in Georgia I believe it's rainin' all over the world
I listened to Brook Benton before I saw your image. I hadn't thought of that song for years. This picture certainly fits the title.

You have made the perfect image for that song I had forgotten all about Benton.

shades of your earlier 'rembrandtian' dark photos with gold and red and yellow light...your topaz filter gives a gentle swirl to it. And, as you always do in shots like this, you handle the darkness consummately. A beautiful night shot out a window, and I love the intense gold-yellow light we see on the right. A very evocative night shot, with a restful night feel...
