My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

It has a metallic look to it and looks for all the world like a gigantic worm.

Very snakey! Also very untidy and a trip hazard, not Bristol Fashion at all. But it makes a superb image!

I am sure someone has jumped, spotting this when they passed this. Looks so much like a snake :)

Fascinating detail, Tara! It looks like a snake all wrapped up in itself!

your postwork brought out a real glow, tara, and sharpness, and contrast in the darks in and around the rope. It really glows, as does the metal 'holder' that it's tied around. (Don't know names.) If you blacked out the upper background, great choice. This is about strong brights and strong darks, and the rope does look like a snake--an electric one. A great study in intense detail.

A clever and well seen shot... I like these details!

This boater must not have been in the Navy...everything coiled and neat I suppose. But his tying the rope to the cleat looks just fine and that's the important issue:) Good eye for the unique...
