Description
I've always liked the North American F-86 "Sabrejet". A real favorite and a classic in my mind, having grown up with pictures of it and comics depicting the pilots' exploits in the Korean war. And, I'va always loved those photos of rows of fighter jets on the flight line. This is a long overdue tribute to Neil's (Neiwil) version. Thanks, Neil. Your contributions live on!

PSP plating done down in the lab, M3 figures with gear gathered from various thrift stores here and there.
Models prepared and set up in C4d and PoserPro; additional set-up, composed, lighting, some texture modifications, and rendered in Vue 6 Infinite; finished in PS Cs3

Well done

Ha ha, love that serial number! Full of little details and harks back to an era when guns were a fighter plane's main weapon, not merely "just in case" equipment. The pilots who flew those fighters needed a lot of skill for the close-in fights that were air-to-air combat at the time. A lot is recalled by this image.
