a good use of the 'smeary' nature of oil pastels...your strokes are thick and fast, and you caught the intense essence of Vonnegut, those heavy eyes and mustache, and that half serious, half quizzical gaze. Good 'capture'. And your strokes are just enough to get the essence, without becoming studied. A really fine sketch.
