I too remember RIchard's tree photos, and you used this very well in this image. Yeah, the child looks like she doesn't want to let it all go---why should she! But the elves/women look like they stopped to pose for you, in the midst of cleaning up. I love the long canes (they could launch into a song and dance with those things!), and the chests which, I assume, are for packing things away. It kind of looks like a store as much as a home; and maybe these are the mannequins from Christmastime, and the child looks on longingly for it not to end. Delightful as always, with a deep red and green theme. I hope your holidays were warm and loving, Barb, and I hope your 2019 is even more. Happy New Year, and an uplifting and inspired year ahead!
