Description
This photo shows how thick the rug was where it was folded double along the hall closets. Notice how thick the rug and rug pads were, yet the urine got through them and down to the floor. The yellowish striated area is the linoleum floor (which I have since been able to wash a good deal clean), and the bluish pinkish is the overlying cardboard layer which took a bit of urine. I used scissors on the card board and on the rug pad (tough work) and both knife and scissors on the rug. Tough, long, hard work, like 6 hours. And man, the pain in my back! I rested my back the following day.
I was plenty glad for each square foot I could get cleared. :-)

great picture and description of the work. I'm just glad you didn't have to deal with fleas in the carpet like I've had to do.

No fleas. She was a sterilized indoor cat. And I'm glad for that - no bugs! :-)

Very good!

I do not envy you on the floor. I worked to many years repairing (breaking into the same) money controllers/safes. had to be on the floor to stick my head inside and try to use one hand to replace computer boards

We have floor boards for that very reason. We had a rug, but kitty thought it was grass!!!!!!!!!!! Rug gone.

Seems like the floor still looks pretty good. Hopefully it will clean up nicely. I know what you mean about the back pain though. Not much fun.
