Description

I left a comment for each of you, so I decided to post something. This is an old, old drawing: It was in a folder called "old drawings," but I think I messed with it in Photoshop. (I'm pretty damned sure it snuck into Photoshop, and stayed there for a month.) But it's almost spring, so here's a flower for all. (This had to be in PS at some point: I just don't remember a thing about it!) Ok: I wanna send all my wishes to Mike (Faemike55) for his up-and-coming medical procedures. Today---Friday---he has a scan. Then, on Monday, he has an enlargement procedure in the urethra and bladder. Then, next month, he has eye work done. Mike: I wish you all the best!!! I hope this has the least side effects, and the most good results! Come out of it whole and healthy, my friend, with everyone's blessings and wishes! A spring flower for you! ------------------ Finally, I've decided (for my 70th birthday) to do something I've wanted to do for ages: Become a sprocket. I'm not sure what a sprocket is, but I'm gonna become one. Then I'm gonna become a raisin in a medium quality Greek yogurt, a gargoyle on a major cathedral (hey, there are some pretty hot gargoyles out there), spend 2 years on an oil freighter---as a tank of oil---and then become a low-fat, high fiber dessert that everyone calls healthy but no one can stand to eat. After that, I'll become an angstrom---which is an atomic unit so small, no one's ever seen one. (As you can see, my age hasn't effected me one bit.) Anyway, all the best, Mike! And I hope everyone has a great weekend, and thanks for your wonderful visits, all! m ------------------

Extremely beautiful and delicate flower Mark! The perfect precursor to herald the coming of Spring. Thank you for the well wishes. Good luck with your conversions, they should prove interesting especially the angstrom; there you can go up and down the spectrum.

Okay, a sprocket, according to the dictionary, is: each of several projections on the rim of a wheel that engage with the links of a chain or with holes in film, tape, or paper. Other than that I won't bother addressing your birthday conversion to various unrelated objects, including an angstrom, Mark. An angstrom? Sub atomic, my friend. And, your flower artwork is most commendable and very well done. I really like the fine textured detail, most likely from the use of Photoshop. As for Mike and that cystotomy-like procedure on his urethra and environs, good luck, fella! I know the feeling well because I had something similar to it done last November 20th. The after effects, which lasted four no fun days, was no walk on the beach. Finally, spring occurs on March 20.

The image is stunning! I don't know what application you planted it in, but it turned out beautifully. I glad to see that age has calmed you down and made you a more level-headed gentleman. 😁

This is a wonderful image, the colors of the flower shout summertime and warm weather. The white background of snow is being left behind as the flower jumps of the page. Really cool work, Mark, I like this a lot. The red frame is a fantastic choice, too.

As to your birthday wishes... just become the gargoyle, they are super cool and they live a long time.

This is a really lovely image and dedication for Mike! I know he's on pins & needles right now with what he's got to go through.. Even thinking about having a tube shoved up THERE (I've had that done a couple times - thankfully I was out) just makes my skin crawl right off my body... It's hiding under the bed right now...

Well, good luck and best wishes for the big 70 - I hit that last October, although I didn't become a sprocket... I briefly tried becoming a high-voltage insulator, but it tickled so much I had to give it up - I was giggling too much. Have you ever heard an insulator giggle? It's weird...

However, if you do become an angstrom, I can give you a cool home in that hadron collider I keep in the workshop... 😆
