It's a splendid recording of all those sharp kind of needles, dear Prisca. I didn't know this plant, and wonder if they really grows in "Die Schweiz" ;-). Haha, it looks like you've visited our dear friend Brigitte, 'cause I think she has a kind of these in her garden.

I remember that you posted a very similar photo for my birthday, and I love both versions. The callistemon bursts into the picture like a blast of fireworks. And the rest of the photo is quiet and blurred (bokeh), which allows the callistemon to be the dominant subject of your photo. And, for a day scene (I presume this is daytime), the photo feels like an intense night shot, with great light on the main flower. An intimate, intense capture of this "bottlebrush" flower, with wonderful 'tips' at the end of every little tendril.
