Description

I took this a few minutes ago. It's getting dark so the flash insisted on going off. I hope it's not too dark a photo. Thanks for looking!

It's a bit dark but the flash sure brings out those eyes...makes me think of a evil Jackalope 😜

Cute little guy with demon eyes :) I really miss not having wildlife in my life--grew up surrounded by forest and fauna.

I wouldn't worry about it being too dark: Unless you have a way expensive camera with super high ISO, this kind of shot will always be dark; and I love the darkness here because it allows the bunny to stand out like an apparition. Love those eyes---thank your flash for that!---and the detail that's apparent on his fur. Plus all the little dots of light in the grass. I really like the total darkness here: It allows the lights to be all the more mysterious. When I was shooting with a really small point and shoot (2 MP---it was from the 1500s!), I always used the flash in the darkness, not because it illuminated the pic---I was often shooting far-away buildings or trees---but because the light in front of the lens gave a strange illumination to the whole pic. Without it, the pics would've been near black. I really love this shot. A real night shot with a mysterious creature staring like all get-out. Don't change a thing!

I really love this shot, Barb! The flash glow in the rabbit's eyes give this such a cool look - I don't think it would have been as riveting if the flash hadn't gone off. 👍
