I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Love watching them snag a grasshopper, they eat their heads first. Yeah she's a big one, maybe those gloves had a attractive smell. Super clear crisp capture. Thanks for sharing and have fun painting, we are under a heavy snowfall today that I mentioned in one of my two posts today. had 5 inches so far ony car, ground about 3-4 so far.

She read, "one size fits most, form fitting and lightly powdered." What female wouldn't like those things? :) Nice capture! Good luck with the painting.

Wonderful capture. Watching you paint probably reminded her she was hungry, and she went over to the bush to stalk something for dinner. Yea, it's a good thing they aren't big enough to eat us! There are ones that get larger than this. Maybe I can find this video I watched about them. I think they're called Orchid Mantis, because that's what they look like on a branch. They're deadly!

Nice sound encounter with the 'atheistic' (?) mantis. LOL! A fine clear photo! Hope all your problems vanish now with all your computers and you have nothing but smooth sailing ahead of you!

Just read a short Issac Asimov story in which the main character awakes after many millennia of sleep to the nightmare that bugs have won the race to the top. Might be this guys an advance scout =)

This really is an amazing shot, Rod. And I love to see this, a bit of a futuristic insect, as to be able to study. The your picture is so sharp, the animal looks great, really very special, because they don't come here in the Netherlands Haha, and certainly none that can't be used for medical purposes.

(I was gonna comment 2 days ago, but I didn't start till this morning...doing a Will, and it's a royal pain!) Love the juxtaposition of that flat headed mantis and that big box of latex gloves. Maybe she wants a part in your Series...a cool juxtaposition, the box is so manmade, but that mantis is clearly from the insect world (with it's comb-like front-feet and barbed back feet, etc). I love that the box says "lightly powdered"---like it's a pastry with light powdered sugar ("powdered lightly to your tastes...") Striking shot of an insect w/ a sheer box. It was pretty bold to stand there for you.
(And btw, I remembered Snowden the minute you explained: I don't know why that slipped my mind, because you talked about that way back, and it was pretty obvious from the likeness. I'd like to say I forgot due to the time lapse on that character, but it's probably my 70 year old mind...)
