Description
This is for Helle (helanker).
Well after Jacomina's dedi (here), it's hard to add anything. But, since I have a bigggggggg mouth, I'll try....
First, please zoom: I tried to capture a little of Helle's colors and textures, w/ a little of her Gelli Prints too. ('Gelli' prints are not prints made with jelly: I don't know what Gelli is, but I know you can't spread it on toast...) This is made of several views of my neighborhood, which Helle loves---though she may not recognize it here. (I did my best with muscles that are still suing me for malpractice. So forgive any messiness...)
Helle was one of the first people I met here, and we became friends almost immediately; and she's remained a sheer delight to me ever since. I'm one of many who luuuuuv her art, and its play and wildness and great abstracts and serious to wild paintings and drawings and prints and montages, and how she jumps in like a kid and tries out ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING, and without fear. And---if she has to---she can do a terrific piece in 10 minutes! That's for real: She deserves days, but when she only has minutes, presto! She makes magic regardless.
She's ALSO one of the most caring, delightful, funny, loyal, and inspiring friends a person could have. Did I say 'funny'? She often has me in stitches.
Now she didn't want anything 'long' for her bday, 'cause she's hardly online due to family responsibilities and the intrusions of age (ie, pain, slow muscles, you name it---I'm sure she'll provide a list for a small price, to which I'll add a couple thousand things at no extra cost): So I said I'd make this 'brief'. (Yeah right.) So let me sum it up: I'm one of a bunch people who are nuts about this lady, and while she celebrates with her wonderful family, I'll say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY HELLE and MANY, MANY MORE! And I hope 2020 gives you all the time in the WORLD---to create, love, get joy from your wonderful family, enjoy that beautiful Danish landscape, create MORE, and so on and so forth...and I wish you a great, wonderful and magical birthday, and a terrific New Year, with love, gratitude and big danish hugs! I hope it's been a wonderful season, Helle---you totally deserve it ! Mark
(The caption in my image says "Happy Birthday" in Danish...I'll never figure out that language if I live to be 9000! I mean, fodselsdagen? Is that really a word? I can't even say it, for god's sake) Happy BDay once more!!!

Cool trio of color variations Mark. I presume the original was your neighborhood. Love the trippy manip on it my friend and a splendid dedi for your friend. Happy Birthday Helle.

My favorite is the top one, the blue one, because there I see that trees have eyes, but in any case I see in all three a parade of a crowd of interested people in cars, and they all drive towards Helle's house. It is as if they are going to a queen's audience. They are three Danish fairy tales, and although there are actually no cars in fairy tales, you know, dear Mark, to put that definition into it. In your words as well, that atmosphere a humorous fairy tale of a thousand and one birthdays that are still waiting for our dear friend Helle. Oh, why those cars are mainly there to be painted by Helle with her festive, inexhaustible color varieties, and her use of the unusual brush, or brushstrokes in jubilee tone, every time so surprisingly different, but always spectacular. So your dedi for Hell is spectacular, exuberant, and straight from your Chicago heart, my friend.
LOL, And here something to practice your Danish, Mark. But I agree with you, it's a strange sounding word that 'fødselsdag'.

Great psychedelic work for Helle, in another one of your fabulous dedications, Mark. My return to doing stuff for Renderosity is highly questionable considering my agonizing physical status. Anyway, Happy Birthday, Helle.

WOOOOW!!! Mark. This is... So beautiful. SO, so beautiful. I told you many times, how much I love your street photos with all the trees... and here, I see them in your SPECIAL performance. I love how the tree branch is creating the illution of a portal or an arkade (like a protecting arm) into the area with beautiful houses and who knows what exciting could be there. I said many times the trees look like they are protecting people on the streets. This is a perfect proof. Cannot for my life decide which one of them I love the most. Gave up on that. Love all three. Thank you ever so much for doing this for me.
For your Way too beautiful words. OH MAN! you know how to write glowing words. Had to read it over and over again. Just to BATH in them LOL! GOSH! I feel on top of the world just now My dear bro in Chicago Wrote me such wonderful words. THANK YOU SOOO much dearest Mark. You are the best. Made my day for sure.

A wonderful birthday gift! The colors are delightful... blue is cool and quiet like a midnight walk, the red is the fire of fall when the sun shines on bright leaves, and the green is like a dream; a little surreal and yet it still feels like home. Beautiful work, Mark, as always!

Well Mark, you have done it once more. I also just came from viewing Jacomina's wonderful dedication and was delighted to see that you too had prepared one for Helle. Also great work on the Danish included in, and I enjoyed Jacomina responding to it. As for the images, they are each a work of art in their own right. What is most important for me is that they are all images of your neighborhood, meaning they each contain a little part of you for her.
