Description

Hi. I'm posting 4 pics today--mea culpa--because soon I'll be getting physical therapy, and will be absent for several days...You can comment on whatever you want--or none--just wanted to share some photos that have been waiting in my closet while I was doing dedis...(they get impatient and start pouting, so I had to post them) This is near me...I walk here almost every day. Thank you for looking, and for your wonderful responses and support! Have a lustrous Tuesday, m (all better, Full) ---------

Castles in the city! These buildings are fantastic together. Past, modern, and futuristic all in one place. The color is warm and inviting. You are so lucky to be able to walk the streets of a city that looks like this.

As bakapo points out, the juxtaposition of the old and modern as well as the bronze and gold tones create a compelling scene. It is captivating :)

Hope that therapy helps you alot my friend. My bowels I guess are ok again for now. 3rd time in three weeks i felt this way. Buts gods grace had pulled me through. And your capture is so professional and beautiful my friend. You capture Chicago brilliantly. Love the golden photo.

I do love the dichotomy of the 'ancient' castle and the modern building. I also love the golden hues that abound the area.

Mark, this is such a stunning capture and the golden tones really set the mood. I'll put you in my prayers as you go through therapy.

That's your castle, right, Good Sir Mark? 😁 If it isn't, it should be! The City of Chicago should present it to you for making the city look like a paradise! What a wonderful photo!

Hope your therapy goes well, buddy. I've got to go in tomorrow morning and have that annoying tooth extracted. They'll be knocking me out so they don't have to stop mid-procedure and peel me off the celling.. I can't have anything besides water after 7PM... I'll tell you what.... This 'getting old' thing is highly over-rated... 🤔

Exquisite golden effects on this sharply delineated scene, Mark. I've been searching for filters over the last few days in an attempt to imitate your color designs and schemes, but that means learning their application procedures, which I don't have much patience for. And, not to steal your thunder, beginning last Thursday I began a regimen of physical therapy on my right shoulder, belabored already for years with a torn rotator cuff, arthritis, etc. The PT is for 12 visits.

This why I love Chicago, the amazing architecture that is everywhere you look and all lined up for perfect viewing! Great shot, Mark!
