Very nice. The wave splashing on the sidewalk gives this photo motion and life. The lone person in the distance adds quiet reflection and the glowing sun in the center ties it all together. This is a wonderful capture of a moment in time on this planet. This exact image will never happen again...

You have such a great eye for photos, Mark. This is gorgeous. The sweep of the sidewalk just pulls the eye right into the photo - entering from the bottom, up through those wonderful splashing waves, and into the light of the sun - and beyond. Wonderful shot!

Stellar capture of meeting old sol face to face in this brave capture, Mark. I often get errant sunbeams and rays in this kind of pic. Love the reflectivity, quasi silhouetting and texture of the waves of Lake Michigan, which, incidentally, has just recently been raising havoc in your latest ice storm, which rocked Chicgo.
