Description

When I first got into photography, back when you submitted your film for developing and sometimes got the morality lecture when you picked it up - Once got a set of film back with sticky tape over bits of the photos AND the negatives (Boots). You soon realised you had to develop your own or risk interviews from police officers pretending morality from two centuries ago. (Been there) Colour development back then required working in a totally dark darkroom, no red glow like you were allowed with B&W and super strict temperature control or everything came out violet. So we worked in Black and White, which we called monochrome because it sounded cooler. If you really, really wanted colour, like for a wedding, you hand painted the results! If everything went right you got something like this after a long night's work. Guess we would call it vintage these days, but does not seem to be an option here.
