Description

I made this grubby ship in Hexagon and then added more bits in Poser...I'd like to stash it in my Figures folder but I am not sure I remember how to do it, since it's basically a grouped obj. If I can figure out how to stash it I can share it :D The nose cone is just parented so it can fly alone, and the exhaust cone can be rotated to look a little more lively, or removed entirely. The only mistakes I made while modeling were in not closing the support strut ends; and there is one spot where there is a gap at the end of the strut where it hits one of the rings. Boo. Also stuff is named things like "ArrowMapped" and I would like to change that to something more dignified. But all the parts have material zones and maps. Asteroid was rolled out of Bryce7.

Looks really good, Lynn! Must be the Imperials mining for more metals to build the next Deathstar..

Hmmm.... You might just have to save it as a prop - you'd have to make sure all the parts are listed in the dropdown menu when you save. Not my particular area of expertise, but that's how I save all my .obj goodies. Seems to work as long as all the materials are in the same place as the .obj so Poser can find 'em. I'm not entirely sure, but I think there has to be rigging involved to save as a figure..

That looks easier than trying to generate a cr2, and it should be usable that way anyway. I'll give it a try tomorrow! Thank you too!

Are you sure you were making a spaceship Lynn? It looks more like something else, but then, that's just my dirty mind, so ignore me.

Aren't all rocket ships flying dildoes? I figured that was a given :D Thank you too!

That is a very cool design for a large spacecraft. Credible in shape and nicely textured.

Great job!! Open the hierarchy window. Link all your bits and pieces together. Click the button on the lowest right. This should give you a character. It will be located in New Figures in the Native Poser runtime. Save it a second time to the runtime you want it to live in and Poser will strip out the OBJ from the CR2

Call or email if you wanna!

I sent it to you and I should have done what you said, but maybe it works as a prop? And thank as always!

Never underestimate the adventures of a mining ship! It looks fantastic, you certainly have a knack for making space ships.
