I felled on wet-slippery ice covering a sidewalk, yesterday. At around 0 Celsius, ice is treacherous, especially for older people, like me. It is difficult to distinguish between water, ice, and water on ice, on sidewalks, especially with my poor eyesight. No bone broken, luckily, but my right wrist became swollen and painful, 4 hours later. I can still use my right hand, but at the cost of so much pain. My comments would be shorter, for the following days, maybe a few weeks. It took me a long time just for typing this comment. When I twisted my ankle, 22 months ago, it took 10 days to heal enough before I was able to walk again, but like a drunken person. I remembered, also, while still on my back and struggling to get up from my fall, that I am just one month older than the age of my older brother, when he died, after slipping on ice, because his head has hit hard on the cement. I am not yet on the day of my end, but I am ready. I have many pages, and pictures, that are ready to post, luckily. I just need to review, for the 4th time, the text that accompanies each one, just before posting it.

love this installment.. and Yes.. getting old sucks! I'm 61 and though I've always been a very active type and fit for my age .. when i fall now instead of rolling and bouncing back up.. I just Splat! YOU be careful and have a doctor look at that!
