Bonjour mes amis de Renderosity, comble de malchance (La France en confinement) Samedi nous sommes allés avec mon mari au rendez-vous chez le médecin curiste à Saint-Paul-Lès-Dax dans le département des Landes. Juste avant de nous recevoir le médecin a appris que toutes les stations thermales de France fermaient pour une durée indéterminée (à cause de l’épidémie du coronavirus). Donc je ne peux pas faire la cure que je devais commencer aujourd’hui. Inutile de rester dans cette région où il y a peu de magasins d’alimentation et tous avaient été dévalisés, les étagères étaient déjà vides. Nous sommes rentrés et maintenant que vais-je faire ? Pas d’ordinateur, le moins de télévision possible, pas de lecture (à cause de mes problèmes aux yeux). Pas de promenades au Zoo (à cause du coronavirus). Il ne reste plus qu’à écouter la radio, allongée car mon dos n’a pas supporté les 300 kilomètres (aller-retour). Alors, mes amis, je vais passer voir ce que vous avez publié depuis samedi, ne m’en veuillez pas pour les commentaires en copier-coller, (je ne peux pas rester longtemps assise devant mon écran). Ensuite je fermerai mon ordinateur pour faire ce que m’a demandé l’ophtalmologiste afin de pouvoir reprendre le plus rapidement possible. Bien que je sois inquiète parce que paraît-il que les opticiens fermeraient aussi à cause du coronavirus. Instead of radio i suggest you get The French Wisperer on youtube. I tried to copy the link but Renderosity doesn’t allow it. It’s ASMR videos, but you can just listen. They are very interesting but also comforting. Many of the vids are in french. Try it!

Sorry to hear that you are going to miss your treatment despite having travelled so far. Hope you are getting better still (a doctor-turned-comedian once said, that doctors are there to help patients pass the time until their bodies have cured themselves. This may not be true in your case, but also shows the limits of what can be expected).

Keep calm and carry on, the British say. Just managed to go on holiday myself on an Baltic Island resort, but by the hour there is a different information: no one is allowed to come here no more, one day all tourists are required to leave, next day you are told everybody can stay... .Restaurants and bars are closing, and so are most shops. If the reaction to deaths caused by the Corona virus was applied on deaths by car accidents (about 100 times as many in this country), nobody would ever drive a car again.

The WHO claims, that 20000 people die of "normal" flu every year, and about 400000 die from malaria. Nobody cares about that.

So, reasonable behaviour: yes, panic: no (friendly greetings to all those idiot stock brokers..)

Oui c'est un peu le chaos depuis une semaine, et tout est improvisé il semble. Je te souhaite bon courage, ce confinement est vraiment une épreuve, déjà une semaine ça paraît énorme :/ , et un prompt rétablissement, si possible :) .
