We are very proud to announce the winner of this months "Artist of the Month" - Ute Reichling [UteBigSmile]. Ute received nearly twice the number of votes from the Renderosity community for the Artist of the Month. She is a highly regarded artist and friend to many in the community. Ute works primarily with DazStudio and in Mixed Mediums, as you can see in her gallery. She is a talented and imaginative artist who creates evocative imagery which is often infused with themes of fantasy, science fiction, folklore and domestic scenes from history. Ute has contributed an astonishing 3,457 digital artworks since joining Renderosity in 2005.

I'm very happy to announce that after a week of voting Renderosity members have overwhelmingly chosen UteBigSmile as the Renderosity Artist of the Year! Ute is a strong member of the community having posted over 3,000 of her artworks to Renderosity galleries since she joined in 2005. She was chosen "Artist of the Month" for June, 2015 and works primarily with Daz Studio and Mixed Mediums. As you can see from the video she created of her 2015 artworks (see below), UteBigSmile is a talented and imaginative artist. C'est vrai, moi j'adore changer de temps à autre, et c'est ce qui fait un bon artiste, car seulement créer des pin-up nues (parfois meme vulgaires) ou juste des portraits, ce n'est pas de l'art pour moi. Malheureusement, beaucoup de nos amis artistes ici semblent l'avoir oublié d'une certaine manière et ils rendent hommage au mauvais prophètes!

a scene from the european cabarets of the 20s and 30s---wonderfully done. Your model is in a theatrical pose, staring at us, daring us...and you've surrounded her with more of your spheres of light, some sepia, some hot red, some yellow-gold. It looks as if she's posing in space! You've always had a very strong feeling for theater, and this is very theatrical. (Even in the 19th C, Degas painted the close, cloistered feeling of cabarets and night clubs, with singers on small stages, and with intense theatrical lighting. This is clearly of the 20th C, but it has that same intense cabaret feeling.) And the woman reminds me of Marlene Dietrich, with that daring scowling gaze...Very classy, Ute.
