Love her hair style and skin complexion. And that expression sure is spot on mad. Faith in our leaders is a dream. I have faith in a greater force above. Take care plz dear Barb.

When all else fails, art provides a release that transcends all. Great image. BTW, Sanity is over-rated. Just sayin'.

Our "leaders" - you mean those idiots that make useless speeches, and don't have sense enough to pour pee out of a boot if the instructions are written on the sole? Those guys? Yeah, me too, Barb... If they had listened and prepared decades ago like they should have we wouldn't be in this mess today...
I'm right along with how your lovely lady feels... Excellent work, Barb!

Megadeath "Angry Again" and again and again

Amen to that sister welcome to the club, as an ex soldier I lost faith in our leaders a long time ago. The real heroes are the average citizen who goes above and beyond when the chips are down and doesn't whine about it.

Exellent done.

I agree with Rod, ours her in Europe are not better than your Orange-Head one, they are more or less all big Liars!!!!

Fantastic scene you've created, Barb. Your sentiments are likely shared by the majority...PO'd. Well, we will eventually get through this, unfortunately with a heavy loss of human life and damage to our socioeconomic structure. I know how concerned you are about your mom, but, since you are conscientious and intelligent about this situation, you both will be OK. Hugs.

Colorful portrait !

Excellent

Very nice creation! She is justified to be angry! So much greed and corruption exist and now we see where it has gotten us!

And it only took running out of TP to start seeing, who would have known?

Gorgeous work, and really love her expression. I would like to comment, in passing, to anyone who might be feeling angry, at the world or whatever. Please do not waste your time and energy on such. The universe does not care. You and you alone can me your Life have meaning and purpose. Put less focus on what others think , say or do, and more on finding your happiness inside yourself. Of course if being angry at the world is what makes you happy, go for it! Again, just speaking in general to no one in particular. Just have thoughts and feelings on Anger and how pointless it is.

some very heartfelt responses to this! To me, you captured the feeling of anger at those who do little to help, and maybe also at the un-topple-able time we're in. I think it captures what a lot of people feel. The first thing I saw, when you posted this, was the hue: It has a golden amber glow, almost a 'toasty' glow, with oranges mixed with browns and golds. It's beautiful. Odd hues for an angry woman? Not to my eye, because you portray anger surrounded by lushness and beauty. It's part of you (and hopefully all of us) that never goes away no matter how bad things can get. (You conveyed positiveness and beauty, right alongside anger.)
And then...you have ruins behind the woman: but instead of feeling like the world is "in" ruins (well, in some ways it's getting there), you've given the ruins a glow: As if it's redeemable. There's just beauty in the image, I don't know what else to say; and it just feels like something you would convey. The woman is angry and fed up, and her arms are folded as if to say, "there's nothing more I can do"...but she has beautiful tone, great hair---I'm expecting her to leave this image and join a terrific dance troupe---a beautiful head band, beautiful gloves, and a face that can probably express joy as easily as anger, when this deluge is over. A dark crow in the background (a raven maybe?) feels like an omen of dark things. But the image has primal beauty, something worth fighting for. Ie, you didn't set her against a stormy sky, but rather a beautifully lit old stairwell with vines and warm golden-yellows and browns. An amazing image, Barb. And that pillar on the far left looks like pearl...for an angry image, it's genuinely radiant.

She's my kind of gal, a grump. And no I have no faith in ours either. Too many bloody handouts to our oil industry, all the while laying off 25000 teachers, and thousands of health care workers, privatizing Health care services, all in the middle of a F*ing pandemic. Good thing I'm not king or some folks would be hauled off to jail.
