Abigail Marsh...
If this foxy redhead looks familiar she starred in Grey_Cat's "Venture's Girls" series. He kindly let her come visit me, and you'll see her in Chapter 7 (and yes, I'm still working on it..). She's an old college pal of G4 and you'll see a bit more about that in the G4 Story (and yes, I'm still working on that, too).
Sorry for my absence the last few days…
It’s been a stressful couple of days… On top of all the COVID crap going on, Jo’s been dealing with a bout of vertigo. She’s fine most of the time, but when it comes around, it’s pretty miserable for her. She’s slowly getting better – it’s just one of those things that has to be dealt with – apparently there’s not a whole lot that can be done for it.
And to make things even more fun, my main backup / distribution server decided that yesterday would be a really good time to give up the ghost. Great. Made me say “Oh, DARN” a few times. And a few other choice words…
Anyway, the good part is I didn’t lose anything other than some convenience. Mainly what it was used for was stuff like… When I purchase stuff here or at DAZ, I would unzip it to an external drive on the server, and use All-Way Sync to distribute it to the computers with the respective apps on them (i.e. Poser Runtimes to the Poser machines, and DAZ libraries to the DAZ machine). It was a quick and easy way to keep everything updated and backed up.
Like I said, no files were lost at all, but I’m having to do a buttload of reshuffling, and rearranging the way distribution and backups are done. If nothing else, it’s a good reason to do some “housecleaning” and organizing of all this digital paraphernalia.
I’ll be working on getting caught up with you all over the next day or two. I do hope everyone is staying safe and sane (or at least partially so) with all this stuff going on. I must say, in my 71 years, I’ve never seen anything remotely like this. I hope none of us ever do again.
QUICK NOTE:
Earlier this evening there was apparently a “cloned” facebook page that was an exact copy of my actual page. A couple existing friends got ‘friend requests’ and contacted me – one of them reported it to FB, and the cloned page is now gone. I hope Jo is ok, now is really not a time for any other troubles, this pandemic is more than enough. I hope this nightmare is over fast, and I don't want a repeat of either. I'd be more than happy to see us one and all get through this.

Cool character and scene! Sorry Jo is having those issue, my Father-in-law went to an audiologist for the same problem and they diagnosed an inner ear issue, there is not a cure but there is treatment. Hope she is better soon!

sorry about Jo and that Vertigo, a fellow co worker had a huge bout with that awhile back. was a bad experience he says, and has frequent issues with it. happy you did not loose anything, we've all been through loss of materials and stuff. since 2001 when I got my first computer, I've lost countless material, totally sucks. your gal is freakin' hot my friend, not much things better then a beautiful babe and a fast car. have a Happy Easter Sunday and give Jo my best wishes for her.

Well ain't that a 'darn' kick in the head your server is acting up. I won't try any more humor here. But, in my 71 years (coincidence), I've never seen anything like this pandemic either. I remember my Dad saying some things about the Spanish flu and how they had found entire immigrant farm families that perished from it when people started socializing again. Very scary stuff. Pretty much of what everyone preceding me had to say. Besides my occasional vertigo, I also have to deal with brain fog, i.e. x-rays show half of my brain has shrunk, which makes my life appear as a dream world.
