Description

Abigail Marsh... If this foxy redhead looks familiar she starred in Grey_Cat's "Venture's Girls" series. He kindly let her come visit me, and you'll see her in Chapter 7 (and yes, I'm still working on it..). She's an old college pal of G4 and you'll see a bit more about that in the G4 Story (and yes, I'm still working on that, too). Sorry for my absence the last few days… It’s been a stressful couple of days… On top of all the COVID crap going on, Jo’s been dealing with a bout of vertigo. She’s fine most of the time, but when it comes around, it’s pretty miserable for her. She’s slowly getting better – it’s just one of those things that has to be dealt with – apparently there’s not a whole lot that can be done for it. And to make things even more fun, my main backup / distribution server decided that yesterday would be a really good time to give up the ghost. Great. Made me say “Oh, DARN” a few times. And a few other choice words… Anyway, the good part is I didn’t lose anything other than some convenience. Mainly what it was used for was stuff like… When I purchase stuff here or at DAZ, I would unzip it to an external drive on the server, and use All-Way Sync to distribute it to the computers with the respective apps on them (i.e. Poser Runtimes to the Poser machines, and DAZ libraries to the DAZ machine). It was a quick and easy way to keep everything updated and backed up. Like I said, no files were lost at all, but I’m having to do a buttload of reshuffling, and rearranging the way distribution and backups are done. If nothing else, it’s a good reason to do some “housecleaning” and organizing of all this digital paraphernalia. I’ll be working on getting caught up with you all over the next day or two. I do hope everyone is staying safe and sane (or at least partially so) with all this stuff going on. I must say, in my 71 years, I’ve never seen anything remotely like this. I hope none of us ever do again. QUICK NOTE: Earlier this evening there was apparently a “cloned” facebook page that was an exact copy of my actual page. A couple existing friends got ‘friend requests’ and contacted me – one of them reported it to FB, and the cloned page is now gone. The real page has rod.shelley.7 in the web address, so check your browser’s address bar if you go there. Stay safe, and as always, thanks so much for stopping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support! Rod's Blog Facebook Twitter Girls From T.N.A. Website Girls From T.N.A. First, Rod, my greatest wishes to Jo, I hope the vertigo goes away soon, and she's fine once more. The hell of this pandemic is, the minute someone feels a little out of sorts, you have to wonder if it isn't the virus. But from what you say, Jo has had this before, so it's not related. I know two types of vertigo from people who've had it. If it's related to musculo-skeletal matters, then massage, physical therapy or chiropractic can help. If it's an inner ear thing, then one has to brave it out (it sounds like Jo's is the latter...or maybe it's from other sources too). Whatever it's caused by, I hope it goes away because when your world is swirling, it's very hard to feel like you're on solid ground. You can't even 'sit' and feel grounded....And re your server: I don't know the inconveniences you're dealing with since I don't have all your equipment, but I'm glad it wasn't a wipe out (ie, where you lose a ton of essential data, and want to curse at the cosmos for devouring 2 years of hard-bled work)---but it sounds like it forced you into major housekeeping, and I hope it's over soon. I'll say something about the FBook stuff in your next upload...but I hope all's getting back to normal (whatever that is, in this viral day and age...)

This is a moody film noir scene, very well lit and shadowed, with a real 40s feel ("Eat Maid-Rite Diner, that open brick in the stucco, your eerie yellow light over the door, the gold hues on Marsh and the car, etc...that's a great orange light, rod). The car, however, is modern, and she's modern: Great work on the outfit, as always, and the light, and on her relaxed and very sexy pose, while still at the ready. Love the dark feel of this, and your light on he makes her like a bit of neon moving in the dusk....and your very wide view (a long image) gives it lots of atmosphere to unfold in. Really well done, Rod. All my best to you and Jo.
