Description

I figured out how to make morphs for La Femme in Hexagon :D It's a little tricky--you can't use the version that you see in the Pose room. You have to go up to Scripts> Utilities>Uncompress Poser Files and browse to the Runtime>Geometries>RPublishing>LaFemme folder (which hopefully isn't too full of clothes and what not because you *can't see* the La Femme .obz file--you just have to click OK on faith.) Then you can go and look with your file browser and see the La Femme obj in there, and that is what you will import into your Blender or Hex or whatever. Just like old times, DO NOT MOVE THE HEAD. You have to manually delete all the rest of the complete La Femme until just the head is left, save the Blender/whatever file for later use, and then you can poke at the verts. In Hexagon it seems to be best to use Points and the Soft Selection on the side menu, and Symmetry "x". (You still have to crank down the size of the selection down to a tiny tiny number, because the head is smol.) When you like it, save with an alternate file name, and then export with just the UV and Normals as an option. Then load up LaFemme, Load Morph Target, browse to your new obj., hit OK, and cross your fingers :D Then look down and see if you have a new morph dial at zero, down under the Morphs on the param dials. Turn the dial and tada a new face! The coolest part is that this new morph will not "lock out" all the pre-set morph dials, and La Femme has a million of 'em! But the morph tool will Not Like your new face, so don't expect to use it.

Vive La Femme? Obviously I use the Genesis figures, but competition is a good thing. I remember the morph tool, I loved that thing!

Lovely image, Lw :) Not a fan of poser myself.. but this is great and interesting to hear your investigations :)

I love how easy it is to pose in poser--those hand and head cameras really make things easier. The platform is pretty sturdy, too--I almost never crash Poser; DS is a bit more of a princess! Plus I just like these figures--they are a little more anime than the genesis people so you can push them a little more into fantasy/sf renders.

She's fun! There are so many hidden dials in the body parts panel--I just discovered you can flip her eyelashes up and down :D

when I first tried La Femme, I was dismayed that I could not pose her. after injecting morphs for her, I was able. outstanding morphing of her face. she is gorgeous

She is sort of modular--she can do a lot but you have to inject and look around for dials. But once you figure that out, she is great!

She looks very nice, there is nothing quite like making your own morphs in a modelling program.
