Description
Today is Teri's Birthday (GrandmaT)...
Teri probably won't see this right away---she came through cancer and all its treatments, and emerged right into the covid pandemic. From her posts, she came through the cancer with flying colors, and has bypassed the pandemic (yay!)---as I hope her whole family has. But cancer takes a lot out of one, so I post this for whenever she returns to the galleries. No rush, Teri, "it ain't goin' noplace," as one of my friends likes to say...
Most of you know that Teri creates these wonderful, warm 3D scenes---of family, all kinds of lovers, kids, pets, imaginary scenes, and lots of humanity, wonderful characterizations, insight, irony, humor, and so on. They're a delight! (And I'm one of many who feel that.) And she's a really a positive force here too.
I wish Teri all the best health in the world, and hope she's gotten plenty of rest and recuperation...and that she and her loved ones get through this pandemic with total health, strength and life-giving energies.
Oh, and as for the image: It's made of one image, varied over and over...and it's huuuuge. (If you zoom, it'll take up a wall!) I made it that way to celebrate, and give gratitude for all Teri gives; and because she triumphed through a very trying time. Happy birthday, Teri! With hugs and inspiration--and health!--from the big crowded city, to your big, beautiful countryside...all the very best on your Birthday! mark

What a delightful splash of festive colors, Mark! So perfect for Teri's special day.... And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Teri!
Her wonderful slice-of-life renders just make you feel good. Much like those wonderful Norman Rockwell paintings in 'Life' Magazine (anyone else remember those?)
Her warmth and inner strength sent the "Big C" running away with its tail between its legs... She is a definite blessing here.
And so are you, buddy! Stay safe!

Congratulations on your birthday and defeating the Big C, Teri! Since I don't know you and unfamiliar with your work, may I call you Teri? Hope you escape the dreaded Covid-19. That is the ultimate battle. Mark did another one of his storied greeting cards, this time with plants, replete with his colorful signature panels on panels.

Happy Birthday to Teri! May you always stay healthy and safe.
These are magical images, Mark. The colors are playful and dreamlike. They are happy and fun slices of the city. Someday we will be able to have happy and fun times, again. Hang in there!

Mark, this is fabulous! I love how you take one picture and turn it into a whole new dimension. The colors keep your eyes moving all over the image catching details in one segment that aren't apparent in another. I really appreciate your work and all the nice things you said. I am healthy and so are all of the family. Ray is doing the "foraging" so I am not exposed to the outside world too much. That is mostly because I am helping take care of Mother two days a week and we don't want to risk her health. We have taken over homeschooling our grandchildren since them doing it themselves was NOT working. The two younger ones are here 4 days a week and the older girl on the weekends, so our weeks are pretty full. By the time I get "free time", I'm exhausted. Once "school" is officially over, we will go to an "every-other-week" reading period, so maybe I will get time to hit the Gallery then. Thank you for remembering and taking the time to post this. You Rock!
