I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

A very mysterious looking character, dynamite texture on her.
LyleAryn
Thank you. I'm pretty happy with her. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from the DM.
Glad you had a look, and always happy to get comments.
Darkglass
Very cool character, lovely work on the textures and materials..!!

Thanka. I'm working on MKII right now. The veil was "too shady."
Ended up changing the horns and hair. I'm liking the new version, though I personally like this one, too. Apparently it was "too goth." Lol.
Radar_rad-dude
A splendid portrait of this lovely character. Very nicely imagined and delivered! Bravo.
LyleAryn
Thanks. I'm still a little sad he didn't like the veil.
However... I do have another character that could use it... Hmm...
Deva3D
Awesome image!
LyleAryn
Thanks deva!

LyleAryn
Thank you, miwi. Glad you like it.

LOL at your description. I miss playing RPG's. As to the two versions, the draping of the veil thingy looks really good, but I prefer her without it.
LyleAryn
Thank you. The other players have seen it now, sans veil, and they are much pleased.
I consider it my little way of contributing to the insanity. After all, harder to make her "generic" if she's got a custom portrait!
bucyjoe
she's great
LyleAryn
Thanks!

Excellent work my friend 👍🙋♂️
LyleAryn
Thank you very much. I enjoyed working with my DM buddy on it. Even though he didn't like the veil, I still feel like the art is pretty fine.
bugsnouveau

I see where this is going because I inadvertently didn't open them in the right order! Nice work!
LyleAryn
Lol, yeah. I think I'm going to use the veil with another character I've got. Maybe I'll play around with that tomorrow.
daggerwilldo
I think she is anything but bland boring and generic. She looks to me to be someone who is carrying around a lot of deep secrets. She also probably has many aces up her sleeve.
LyleAryn
Thank you. Should be interesting to see how the story develops.
crender
Excellent ! !
LyleAryn
Thanks, Crender!~

OK - I just fell in love with her too... Don't tell my wife, ok?
I think she's gorgeous! Love her skin, and smolderingly sensual look. Top marks!

Cool picture, the steps are great. I also work like this sometimes Excellent image! Awesome cool! I like it a lot!

Thank you. I figure its fun to show the work sometimes. In this case, most of it was done while streaming my screen to my friend. He went to bed before I added the veil. Then I got his feedback, made the changes, and ended up at MKII.
