I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

She reminds me of my step granddaughter. Bless her evil little soul! LOL! Excellent character and portrait.
LyleAryn
Thank you. It's fun working with someone on one of these.
Darkglass
This is very cool also.....personally i prefer the other one...but would have taken the horns and hair..from this one and dialed it into the previous character....so the horns come come through the veil....but the customer is always right....super work and render..!!
LyleAryn
Thanks. I like the veil a lot, too. It was a creative way around a problem, that's for sure. Came out very goth, but yeah. Go with what they want.

LyleAryn

Wonderful little devil,beautiful image!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LyleAryn
Thanks! It's been fun seeing the "generic" NPC develop a personality as we play.
Madbat
Tiefling? I like those horns. It looks like there's some subsurface scattering happening there.
LyleAryn
Yeah, they were a nice addition when they came out, though I wish they had a few more options and morphs.
"Tiefling" are a race progenated by devils, in essence. Though not inherently evil themselves, they often face prejudice for their ancestry.
Though I've never seen that aspect come up in a game, personally.
bucyjoe

I'm just glad to bring her to life.
Thanks for looking!

LyleAryn
They are her most-commented upon feature, lol.

A totally beautiful character. She’s very intense and very very lovely. You do some amazing work and I am really glad to be following you. Not to mention all of the help you’ve given me and all of the encouragement you have given me. I thank you very much.

The DM showed this final portrait to his sister, who then guessed all her attributes spot-on. I was impressed. Makes me think i did I good job! Don't worry, though. I won't let it go to my head.
STEVIEUKWONDER
She makes you feel quite horny! lol Excellent work!
LyleAryn
Lol. Her favorite animal, as it turns out, is the Umber Hulk. I wonder if they make a stuffed version to win at the fair...
crender
Excellent ! !
LyleAryn
Thank you.
RodS
She is just too cool! I love this version as well! She has a whole different look without the veil. Sweet work, my friend!
LyleAryn
I agree. I had to laugh, when my friend told me the veil made her look "too shady."
It's always nice to receive such posituve feedback. It's not why I make the art, but ut has led me to start posting things that I'm normally more wary of sharing.

Thanks you very much.

"the players immediately fell in love with her and now their all traveling together" - cool! Great Irene!! Damn cool! I like it a lot.
LyleAryn
Thank you! She's a keeper, alright. Now the DM is filling in backstory for her. It's been a hoot and a half.

Thanks, my dude! Glad you like her.
