I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

I think this is a very touching scene. So you are opening accounts at DA. I think that’s great. I’ve been thinking about posting there myself. Also I might start doing some stuff on artBreeder. I do hope you plan to stay here. I wish you the best on your coming books and know that I am an avid follower of your wonderful art.
LyleAryn
Oh, I ain't going anywhere. Just casting a wider net. Trying to figure the best way to go about things without bankrolling a massive ad campaign. Thank you for the support!
bucyjoe
good one I really don't like Deviantart but I have a page there mostly showing my photoshop and photography
LyleAryn
Yeah. It's not as friendly as rendo, but I can post chapters and stuff there, so shrugs.
I figure anything art-wise posted there will be posted here, first, and I'll wait a couple days before posting to DA.

Thank you for all your great comments you leave on other artists works including mine, you are such a wonderful and friendly person, Lyle! You will always have my full support... Keep up the awesome work, I'm gonna have to kidnap some of your amazing talent lol. I have one of those dead DA accounts too, I'll add you to my watch list if I can remember what my password was lol
LyleAryn
Aww. Thanks! That means a lot for you to say. There's a lot of great talent here, and very friebdly folk. It's been my pleasure.

You really captured an emotional moment here. Wonderful work!
LyleAryn
Thank you. No matter what Lenny is going through, if she sees a friend in trouble, she drops everything for them. Dialing in these scenes has been a challenge, but it seems as if that effort is paying off. So glad you could stop by.

very touching scene and superb poses

So kind of you to say. I really enjoy poses with more than one person. They xan be a real bugger to set up, but if you pull it off the results are always fantastic.

A splendid and supportive illustration. Two lovely ladies with lives to live. And they are doing it. I enjoy reading your descriptive as well. You are a very talented artist! Keep up the great work you do!

Thanks. I enjoy doing the write-ups. I still haven't done my system reinstall. Things have been crazy lately, and I really need to be able to dedicate a full weekend+ to the endeavor to get it all done correctly. However, stuff like this has shown the increasing need to get it done. This fit easily into the video memory, but WOULD NOT do anything other than CPU render. Frustrating! Others I've done will GPU render, but do so very slowly - more so then it should warrant. I do believe getting it sorted will make a difference, since it used to render much quicker. Another thing that has made me hesitate to jump into the reinstall is that I plan on building a new PC. Part of me wonders if I should bother sorting this one out since I'll just be building a new one anyway. Current plan is to at least get all my book illustrations done, and then decide. About 2 per chapter, @ 15 chapters. I've been making good progress though, despite having to redo a few because I updated Lenny's hair. (And that Jam hair is certainly worth the extra render time!)

Wonderful narrative and a marvelous image, very well done!

LyleAryn
Thank you. I'm glad you like it!

Wonderful emotion in this scene, Lyle, and the lighting is perfect. It's like it's there, but "just" out of their reach, which is reflective of their emotional state. Great work. :)
LyleAryn
Aww, shucks... That is very pleasing to hear. Thank you so much! You have a wonderful day now.

Well done!
LyleAryn
Thanks ikke!

Such a tender moment! This is as good as it gets!
LyleAryn
I agree. These two have already inspired great renders. I don't pyt them in the same scene often enough. I'll by remedying that, though. You have a good day now.
