Description

This is Periwinkle. Originally created as a Hoennite in a Pokemon 5e game, here she is re-imagined in more fantasy-themed garb. She's a Ranger, though instead of the vast untouched wilderness, her jungle was made of brick and worked timbers. Her familiar is a slime she calls Sheila. Periwinkle isn't getting played much in the Pokemon game, but recently the DM has been talking about getting something a bit more steampunk/victorian-era going. His only request has been that Periwinkle stays on, and so I must oblige. Honestly though, I spent enough time developing the personality, and I think she'll fit into the new setting well. We're also talking about the inclusion of Sky Rangers. If we can work out a fair system for the jetpack, then she'll be a Rocketeer. In fact, I may have picked up a certain set from Renderosity conceptualize this... (Check back later!) Of noteworthy triumph, is that the jacket and shirt weren't meant to ever work together, as the shirt has ruffles. Yet, I managed to pull it off. As well as getting the blouse to tuck into the pants that it was also never supposed to work with. The other thing of note, and the one I'm even more proud of is the hat... AND HAIR! Yahoo! I got really lucky. Between morphs on the hair and hat, as well as SY's Hat and Hair helper, I actually got everything to play nice together. Living the dream, my dudes. Living the dream. Periwinkle is a bit of a tomboy. After a series of tragedies claimed the lives of her family, and was followed up by calamity finding not one, but three different foster families, Periwinkle runs away, to live in the woods with her only friend, a slime named Sheila. Eventually coming to live out-of-doors near a village where many older adventurers came to retire. The elders would look after the girl, never afraid of a supposed curse. Caring for her as well as allowing her to live the life she wishes. Eventually she is sent to a university, training to become a Ranger, and perhaps, one of the legendary Sky Rangers. She will not tolerate bullies. Beyond that, she will try to befriend everyone. If anything, her friendly slime is even more friendly, often forgetting an aggression just moments after it occurs, and attempts to "hug" everything. You might call this a rare image of Periwinkle without a little slime in her hair, lol. She is practicing her saber skills, but has also learned the usage of various firearms required to fulfill the duties of an Urban Ranger. Periwinkle is an outgoing individual who sometimes has difficulty reading body language, and will always assume the best of everyone. I hope you enjoy the work! It was a lot of fun to put together. I completely lost track of time working on it today. I'm thinking about getting that new dForce slime set, but I haven't made up my mind yet.
