Description

The previous version of this didn't quite make me happy. There was something just a bit off about it. I passed it around a bit, and listened to some suggestions. I let the character speak. There were comments that losing the coat would make her more feminine. (Three people looked at the original and said "He's cool.") However, the coat was kinda central to the idea. Then a friend mentioned that she didn't like the hair. I realized that was the problem. For one thing, weird to have wet hair when the rest of her is dry. For another, it just covers too much of the face. And hides her lovely ears! I scrolled through my runtime, and found "Gothic Mohawk for Genesis 3 male." A quick smoothing modifier added, and then application of hair shaders, and I think that came together nicely! This hair LOVED the shader set. No muss, no fuss. Just the way I like it! From there, I realized that "Griffen" is a former Sky Ranger, like Periwinkle (You'll find Sky Ranger Periwinkle in my gallery) and so I thought to put her in something a bit more like Periwinkle's outfit. Back to the Aeon Soul store page! This is the "Lyra" outfit. I think this helps it step a littl emore into the Steampunk vibe, without taking it too far. Then the boots were bugging me. I tried couple different ones, only then I found I bought the extra textures for these, and found a texture that matches the suit. And THAT did the trick! The coat also had other options. This is "Witch Hunter Dark." (note, this is Long Coat for Genesis 3 female, converted using the converter from RSSY) A bit of adjustment to remove the bodice that texture loads with. I tried out the "blue" leather texture as well. Which matched the bodysuit, but then there was just too much blue. I settled on this. I really like it. I also chose a different lip color, as the dark lips just didn't click for me. She don't look the type for makeup anyway. Lighting was still good, so all that was left was to hit the render button and try to sleep. (Failed that last bit, but I'll sleep eventually!) Now, quickly shrugging out of the coat, she's ready to leap from the side of the ship and dive into the ocean below! Three crew members down. I'll have more of the crew soon. Can't wait for the players to meet them! Thank you very much for taking a look. Have a good evening.

This is an awesome image. Great character. I think you heard you character spoke. Her image how you portray her, Lyle is like voice in writing. Your image, your character has a visual voice and its distinct. Great work.
