I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

I really like what the lights in the bottom corner did. It gives it more of a sci-fi look. This is beautiful work.
As for who she is, I think she's just what she looks like; a damaged robot stashed out of the way until somebody gets around to either repairing or scrapping her.
LyleAryn
Hmm. Interesting. Poor thing. Thanks for having a look. Always a pleasure.
OkrimSlava
very well.
LyleAryn
Thanks! Glad you stopped in.

Wow... Just that! Thanks for this, the pic is amazing, and the interference I thought you'd done on purpose until I read your description! Looks like a dodgy monitor image, so fits with the subject just fine (she's damaged, the monitor's damaged, just works really!).
I suspect that the issue with the length of render is most likely due to both the fog effect and loads of transparency on the outfit, but damn, who cares? It looks awesome! Time well spent, I'd say!
LyleAryn
Indeed! I kept on eye on it periodically, and after a while I realized that it wasn't really doing anything further, and I thought it looked good. I also had the iterations unlocked and set to insanely high. I'm glad you like it. It's a great outfit. I'm sure you'll see more of it in the future.

Red, Red !! Paint it Red! ( The Red Rocker Sammy Hagar ) Love the image, outstand job !
LyleAryn
Indeed. We'll paint the whole town red, and see what happens.
Be good to your streetcorner android.

i like the expression, as it is actually the thing that evolves the image. to me, it looks like something has gone wrong, and she was maybe trying to get to this panel to fix something only to find it too damaged. she is taking a breath, gathering thoughts, and seeking a new solution so that she can escape whatever bad thing that happened and set off the chain of events. is she only trying to save herself, or is she taking charge and trying to save others that are hiding somewhere else? i've no idea... but i like that, the way i can just keep creating different scenarios for her...

Very excellent. I love to see other people's interpretations of a scene. When i was in school we did this thing where we got an image and a single line of text and we had to write a short story out of it. One of my favorite exercises. I think something like that ought to exist for adults. We get coloring books, why not visual writing prompts done just for fun? Coloring with text, as it were.
Thanks for commenting, and I'm glad she tickled your fancy.

Wonderful work, Lyle, the red atmospheric lighting is so effective here. :)
LyleAryn
Thank you. I'm glad you think so.
RodS
Really outstanding work here, sir! It seems that she's had an encounter with something rather nasty, and she's now trying to restore or reset things back to normal.... whatever 'normal' is...
The red atmosphere over everything really gives it a sense of intensity - I can almost hear alarms going off..
LyleAryn
Thanks! Hmm. I love it when a render can spark so many ideas. Hope you're having a decent afternoon. We finally got some rain. One heck of a thundershower last night, and more rain today. MUCH needed, with the entire west coast still fighting wildfires. Rain di the trick for knocking all the smoke out of the air, too.
I'll be checking out your video here in a bit. Glad you stopped in!

It does remind me of a BubbleGum Crisis episode, but I haven't watched those since the 1990s so my memory is a bit hazy. Love the atmosphere here. Great image.
LyleAryn
It's streaming on Tubi, so I've been going through a rewatch. Probably influencing me now, lol.
Thanks for having a look.
