I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

LyleAryn
Thank you. I think I did alright.

Super scene, but then I'd expect nothing less!
Good luck with your computer, stupid issues like that are a pain, ain't they?
LyleAryn
Thanks!
And yeah. Just hoping to work around the Daz glitches until I can build a new one. Hoping to get a good deal on one of the new 30xx series cards when they release. Though I don't think my video card is causing the issue.
OkrimSlava

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! Have a lovely day.

cool lighting
LyleAryn
Thanks. It's mostly from the "About Time" set, which just a little fiddling from me. I think it works well here. Good lighting can help these older girls fit in with the newer ones, I think.
eekdog
bash some heads with that wrench ! nice shy pose and killer lights.
LyleAryn
Thank you. Sophita gave her the old wrench, and now she takes it everywhere, much like a security blanket.

This is a grand character. You gave her a that is easy to empathize with, Did her character prompt the back story, or was she created from the back story? Very nicely done.
LyleAryn
Her character prompted the story. I went into the render knowing I wanted a swabbie, and ended up with Deedee. From there, her entire backstory revealed itseld to me.
Thanks for stopping in and saying hello.
Radar_rad-dude
Poor little damaged girl! You can see her fright and mistrust in her body language. I'm surprised you were able to get her picture. She must not have seen you or she would have run away! Wonderful works. Splendid character. Sorry to hear of your computer troubles. They can be such a pain till you figure out what is causing the issue(s). I wish you all the luck with all your endeavors! Have a great weekend! And thanks for the comment on the Yugo Trans Am race! LOL! That wolfenshire has a real sense of humor!
LyleAryn
It was an interesting experience. As the render resolved the entire crew coalesced. If I don't get the campaign running, I think I'll have to write a book about them.
Thanks!
Saby55
Great character, pose and lighting! Excellent work!!!👍🙋♂️
LyleAryn
Thank you, Saby! Love your stuff!
starship64
This is a fantastic character. Nicely done!
LyleAryn
Thank you. I think Frangipani was a freebie of the week at one point, and I know the hair was. Of course, putting them together is where the art starts to happen.
Thanks for leaving a comment!

Outstand piece of work !!
LyleAryn
Thanks!
RodS
She's wonderful - I love her already! Sounds like she's well cared for and valued as part of the crew.
Most excellent work on her, bro!
Hope you are able to get the computer issues sorted - especially annoying when doing work for a client (not that I've done any for years..).
LyleAryn
Thank you for your kindness.
Yeah, most annoying. Though last night's render, "Greta" was pretty quick. Which now makes me suspicious, lol. This is my first client - I don't think I'll make it a habit, but maybe from time to time? Supplementing my disability income would be nice.
Ain't no fun waiting around to be a millionaire...
Irony. I released a book this year and will make more from this one commission piece of render art than from the book. : (
Giana
lovelovelove this lighting -- not just the lighting itself, but the colours and the gradient they've put on her skin, and the shadow placement due to angle... killah!!
LyleAryn
Thank you very much, Giana!
STEVIEUKWONDER
She looks like a real Tomboy! Nice work!
LyleAryn
