Description
I painted this building inside and outside. built a parts room in the back. the owner told me he might want to put motorcycles on top of the ceiling. I used 2x12 ceiling joists on 12 inch centers and 2x12 wall studs on 12 inch centers. it would support a heavy car!.
I painted the ceiling in the retail space with black dry fall paint. all you do is use a broom to clean it off the floor

Dang - with 2 X 12s on 12 inch centers, this ought to be able to withstand a hurricane.. I'm tired just thinking about doing all that construction work!

A very large undertaking. Sounds like that is a building that is going to stand until its torn down.
