I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Despite all the issues that arose in the making of this render...I think it turned out really well for you! Excellent and very well done! I like it! :-)
LyleAryn
Thanks! I think so, too!
Tracesl
came looking great - excellent
LyleAryn
Thank you! I'd like to say a labor of love, but... Luckily I won't have to load the dress ever again.
Though I know I eventually will. I'm stubborn.
Kordouane
I'm very happy to see your new publication which is superb
LyleAryn
Thank you! You are a lovely person!
OkrimSlava
nice POV, well done.
LyleAryn
Thanks! So glad you like.

Nice work. Not a set I've used before, but one I was looking at. Probably won't bother then!
The image came out fine though, what you eventually went with works a treat!

It took 38 minutes to drape just the dress. No matter what I did, it is very slow. Don't know why. It's such a shame - because it's a gorgeous dress.
Thanks for leaving your comment!

Greta/Great. nice view of her Lyle. love the two looks of her.
LyleAryn
That's Lenny on the right. In the story, Greta is supposed to wear the dress Lenny is wearing, but she backs out three days before. Lenny wouldn't normally even wear red, but she steps up for her best friend
Thanks for the comments! I appreciate them. I look forward to them. Somedays I even live for them, lol.

That drapes really well. (I can’t get dForce to work at all, so....there’s that.). I actually think it works this way, without the jacket.
LyleAryn
It does! But I really liked the billowy sleeves. :(
Thanks!

Yikes dForce has usually worked for me. I have seen a few poses that blew up but I credit that to a older PC with not today's horse power. I would suggest a few test cases. This does not constitute a wild pose with lots of calculations to get from A to Z. Certainly contact the creator. As to the render, it is lovely and the dress is draped nicely.
LyleAryn
This is her fourth pose. The dress and jacket explode even in the default "A" pose. Tried doing it all on a timeline. No luck. Originally had her arms crossed. The first dress I put on her worked fine, but then I saw this one in the fastgrab... Luckily it works without the jacket. And the final pose inspired a whole scene, rather than just a portrait like I originally planned.
Radar_rad-dude
Oh my yes! That is quite a scary look on the dames face! Wouldn't want to be around her. Cool work.
LyleAryn
Thank you. It's fun sometimes, to put together a villain.

Well, from this angle, things certainly look like they fell into place nicely! This is gorgeous!
I've not yet had the pleasure (?) of playing with Dforce - of course I need to get DS reinstalled and (thoroughly) tested first. I've messed with dynamics in Poser a fair amount and can get things to work most of the time. I still have much to learn even with that.
LyleAryn
Thanks. It was worth the effort.
starship64
Nicely done. Thanks for the warning about Femme Fatale!
LyleAryn
Thank you! And no problem. It really is a shame. Looked lovely in the promo shots.
Saby55
Spectacular and excellent work, my friend!!! 👍🙋♂️
LyleAryn
Thank you, Saby! Glad you stopped in!

So sorry about the trouble. It's really frustrating when that happens! Think I'll steer clear too...BUT let the merchant know. There may be that they don't know unless you tell them! The testers need to be told too!
LyleAryn
Yeah. Harder to do on Daz, but I'll leave a note on the forum.
UteBigSmile
I love your new image, which is very beautiful! (I never had problems with all the 4 characters at all)!
LyleAryn
Thanks! You've been most kind.
dakotajaroo

LyleAryn

Richardphotos
