I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Thank you. It's hard to pass up on getting new girls when FWSA goes on sale, lol.
A_Sunbeam
Great character and pose!
LyleAryn
Thank you!

Nice. The seam could be the UV.
LyleAryn
Yeah... Still unsure what the UV is, but I keep hearing that tossed around. Like, "Adjust the UV." And I'm sitting her ,like, "Hey, I've only been using this for two years and I haven't figured out what that means yet!" Lol.
I really ought to look it up.

Now, this I like!. Nothing better than a hint of Steampunk!
LyleAryn
I feel like sometimes there's this mission to go overboard and throw in a ton of gears and crazy tech and such. Which is fine, I suppose, but I kinda like the more minimalist approach. And "Victorian-era" also means "Wild West era" in my mind!
OkrimSlava
Awesome pose.
LyleAryn
Ain't it, though?
Artienne
Very nice stem punk render! Lovely character and outfit!
LyleAryn
Thank you! You're lovely.
dakotajaroo
cool expression , and sexy pose
LyleAryn
With Karina, there was no doubt that she'd end up with a sexy pose. Thanks for commenting! Makes me day to read 'em all.

"Golly, shucks! I ain't nothing but a sweet little thing... Unless you mean to make trouble. You ain't meaning to make trouble, are you mister?"

Another very beautiful image, love her pose and expression, superb work my friend.
LyleAryn
Thank you! I love this expression as well. Disarmingly sweet.
STEVIEUKWONDER
Goodness! Such a fine body! Very lovely work indeed! You're one fine artist!
LyleAryn
Gotta show off them curves!
Radar_rad-dude
And of course, up to her seductive tricks, I see! LOL! Sweet and illusive character! Marvelous image.
LyleAryn
Thanks. Sometimes I just can't help myself, and Karina had been waiting so patiently for my attention. With the odd seem, I think she'll be getting my attention again in the near future. I want to figure out how to solve problems like that!
PhthaloBlue
Beautifully done!
LyleAryn
Thank you.

Well, that's a pretty darn nice "doodle" my friend! She really looks awesome, and I love the outfit you picked for her - and I'm sure she does too! 😁
LyleAryn
Thank you. I'm glad you like it! I've had the outfit for a while. Literally, I was like, "I need something with sleeves! But I want her to be sexy!" And then I saw this outfit in my runtime, and it was a "Oh, right!"
At which point, I had to give her a gun, too. And decided on Steampunk instead of Old West.
Nightwind
Hey steampunk is always good, but then I like old west too..then there is scifi, that can be cool, oh and don't forget the vikings. Hmm now you see why I have such an eclectic gallery.
Excellent image! I really like your color choices which set off her skin tone and eye color.
LyleAryn
You and me both! And my assets? Woof! All over the place. But. That just means there's more to select from when I'm trying to channel something.
The great thing is, I can use pretty much any Steampunk piece I make for the RPG I'm doing. So... That means I can spend more of stuff, right? ;)
Thanks for stopping by. And just remember. Don't cause no trouble in her town, and you and Karina will get along just fine.

Gorgeous image with your beautiful lady, Lyle... I would pose her in such way so the other half of her left arm shows up too, it's nice to have have a render with hands lol hiding her hands behind her back is a poor posing job... I want to see the expression of her hands. I'm starting to sound like a cop -- let me see her hands! lol
LyleAryn
You know what's funny? They're fully posed. Took forever because the handle of the gun is huge.
And the other hand is posed, too!
Maybe I should spin her around... Not that anyone would mind seeing her backside...

An 18 minute render ehhh? I can only dream. I talk in terms of 18 hours. 18 minutes well spent. A joy to view. I want to thank you for all the help you have given me it is greatly appreciated.
LyleAryn
No problem! We might seem like magicians, but as artists I think we ought to teach what tricks we learn to others. Event he bad tricks! After all, we aren't splitting a pie. There's a pair of eyes for every piece of art we do. You never now the impact you'll have until someone comes up to you and tells you.
And that's just the art. The first time someone mentioned that advice I gave helped them? Well, that made it all worthwhile. Every write up, I do because all I really want to do is help.

Thank you, Mike. I enjoyed working with her finally. Such a cutie! I tried to convert her over to G8, only there's this weird things going on with the eyelids. A mystery for another day.
