Description
The wrong-handedness of the "quick" render I did finally got to bugging me too much, so I opened the file back up and spent a little more time on it. The goal? Make it better, but don't make it take longer to render.
Goal achieved. Sorta. It was still fairly quick, but longer than before. More shiny surfaces, I suspect.
First things first, I fixed the pose using the symmetry tool. Got rid of the dangerous necklace (you really wouldn't want to wear that in a sword fight) and then defied my own logic by giving her a lip ring and a hoop earring. (Hey, she's still wearing heels so this is definitely glamour fantasy!)
Added a couple scars, a tattoo and just a touch of makeup. Obviously also got the rapier into the correct hand for the sheath.
A little tweaking to her expression. Loaded up the excellent eyeballs provided by Nightwind (THANKS!) and I'd call this a much better showpiece for the lovely Khemsit.
And to those that liked my render of Ellen? Don't worry. She'll be back. Spending a little time honing skills, and I got to figure out the best way to put an outfit on her that has a fuller sleeve. I just couldn't wait any long to show off these great eyes for the character! The more I sit with the idea, the more I think she'll be the star of my NaNoWriMo this year.

Outfit is mostly "dForce Aravine" with jewelry borrowed from here and there. Tattoo and lipstick from the LIE Pirate Makeup set, eyeliner from Material Wizard. The hair is C1 Spiky dForce Hair. Environment is "Fantasy Loading Dock."

Thank you. She's learned to navigate wet decking in stiletto boots, so this relatively dry dock is perfect for a little swordplay!
