I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

A very interesting and intelligent looking character! She looks very competent and able to take care of herself! A marvelous portrait to be sure.

Thank you. She's learned to navigate wet decking in stiletto boots, so this relatively dry dock is perfect for a little swordplay!

extrem great render ... like the details of this high quality render
LyleAryn
Thank you. I like going in and adding stuff. Sometimes I don't have no rhyme or reason to it. I'm glad you like her. Me, I think they've been releasing some fantastic Originals lately, with some of the best skin I've ever seen in any digital character.

Lovely work. Great character, and the pose fits, nice to see the sword in the correct hand for the sheath too!

Indeed! I was glad the symmetry tool made it work. Sometimes it does some very strange things. Thanks for having a look.

Thank you. It is amazing what can be done with the sun-sky setting, if you just play iwth it. Whoever put together that part of Daz, I hope they got a raise.

She's from everywhere. I have stayed off of FB and not watched TV at all today. Or yesterday. Pretty much just avoiding it for the now.

OK, I like her, she looks like a total scamp. And never knock the value of a good set of spike heels in hand to hand combat.
LyleAryn
I figure she just had training as a ballerina and walks on her toes anyway. O.o. Thanks. I really do like the model, and after spending time on the scene, like the outfit, too.
RodS
Hey, if a girl's gonna kick butt, she's gotta look her best, ya know? And a well-placed kick with a spike heel can make a bad guy cry for his momma... As you shall see... 😉
Khemsit looks like she'd be a riot to hang out with - as long as one stayed on her good side! Sweet work with her!
LyleAryn
Thanks. I think she just might make an appearance in my campaign - Hey, I'm a DM. I can reuse assets if I want to! Thanks for having a look. I just read your new page - keep up the great work!
hashdoc
The outfit looks great and really adds to her pose and expression!
LyleAryn
