Description
Normally this is my favorite time of the year--I love the leaves and holiday preparations-- but it will be a smaller holiday season for most of us, I am afraid. But I am thankful for what I have!
(my sense of smell is back, after being gone for a week! I never realized how much I needed it!)

sigh you lucky people who get Autumn. It lasted a week or so here, then it was straight into winter.

It was like that last year--a week of sort of gold leaves and then boom, snow--on top of the unraked leaves! This year it looks like we will get the nicer cloudy/rain version before January snow. We tend to get winter and then one week of Spring before it gets sweaty, though..right in June :D
