The Ensign looked over the large vehicle and its trailer; both packed and loaded with supplies and equipment. "And you go out there alone?" She glanced over at the woman as she leaned on one arm against a large tire. "This is most likely the safest planet we have ever operated on." She drew a deep breath. "I like the isolation. Not much of a people person." "Yes." The Ensign stared through the open door of the machine. "But two weeks out there alone." "Suits me just fine." She shot back. "The advantage of being a site surveyor. No one around." She pushed off and headed past the other woman towards the open door. "Then how will we know if you found anything or need help?" She hesitated at the step railing for a moment as she drew a deep breath. She shook her head and turned and glanced over her shoulder. "You won't. I do not work for Starfleet, and have no intentions of reporting anything to you." She then hurried up the ladder and paused at the doorway. "You may inform you Commander of that fact as well when you make your report." The door then lowered and snapped into a closed seal. "That could of have gone better." The Ensign mumbled softly under her breath as she backed away. She watched as the heavy vehicle came to life with a low hum. It raised up slightly, and then its tires rolled over twigs and branches, causing a crackling sound as it move off into the forest.
