Description
Not wanting to relive his mistress’s anger over the last time he broke a potion jar, Utla’s apprentice very carefully reaches for the jar of dragon blood. Or was it swamp juice she wanted?
==AMY’S NOTES==
Have I mentioned how much I love this set by Faveral? I have a few others by him as well, which Utla and her apprentices will surely want to explore.

Another wonderful scene!!! I want all of his sets. LOL

Thanks for the comment, Kellie! I'm slowly accumulating as many of his sets as I can, esp. in the medieval/fantasy genre. I've had his amazing Castle Creator for a while and love playing with it, but I'm not very good at using "kits" to assemble scenes, so I haven't used it in a render yet. Doing so is on my "to do" list, though!

Oh great! Shades of Micky Mouse as the apprentice! Also, don't let him do any floor mopping! A great looking scene and character! Most excellent images! Bravo and many fine kudos on both!

Lol, that's how you learn, being careful. Yes this vender has very unique look almost timeless fairy tale like to it. Your scene looks great.

Well, with some of the ingredients a wizard might have around, you'd only have one chance to learn why you shouldn't drop the jar! I love the fantasy look of sets like this. Works well with my favorite figures: the characters by Nursoda. I wish there were more of them! Thanks for the comment :-)

Very fine scene. I would like it to be just a little brighter.

a very nice warm setting with awesome elements. i can never find stuff like this.

Thank you, eekdog! I love sets like this and wish there were more of them. Or, in case there's a genie out there listening in: I wish I could model stuff like this!

Faveral does such wonderfully detailed work & you put it to great use! Your apprentice suits the setting perfectly!

Thank you for the comment! I love sets like this, esp. for Nursoda's characters. I wish I knew how to model in this style so I could make more sets for them, but in the meantime, it would take years to get full use out of all the Faveral sets I have :-)

Faveral should thank you! This image and the previous one in the series were so well-composed and rendered that I am going to procure some of that content even though it is a bit pricey. Thank you very much for sharing these two wonderfully composed and executed images!

Thank you for the comment, Molly! I've got more to come featuring this scene, and then Utla and her apprentices will likely wander the streets of Faveral's Medieval Docks. The sets are pricey, though not too bad when on sale (if you're a member). But they're worth it. I've paid equivalent amounts for other sets that were so NOT worth it that it doesn't seem fair!

totally delightful!!

There's something about Nursoda's characters that seem to blend in so well in these kinds of surroundings. I get the feeling someone is going to be looking for a new apprentice.
perpetualrevision
They do, don't they? I think Utla will probably continue to give Koit a chance, esp. considering what happened with her former apprentice (image coming soon!))
