Description
Fehnanne, Fehnella, Fehnabeth, Fehnricia, and their brothers, Fehnrik, Fehnbert, Fehnpatrick, and Fehntin, get together for a much overdue Fehn Family Reunion!
==AMY’S NOTES==
I’ve wanted to do a scene like this ever since I got the 4 Elements set for Fehn :-)
I set up the family members first, including their poses and camera angle, and then went looking for a suitable set for them, which was perhaps not the wisest order of doing things. After a dozen or so sets that didn’t look right, I remembered that I’d used 1971s Butterfly House for The Three Ceazuns Sisters Argue Over Tea. And naturally, that set was perfect for the full family as well!
Rendered in March 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11 for Mac at 3200 × 1800 pixels. View full size on my blog.
==CREDITS==
SCENE: Butterfly House by 1971s; TerraDome2.
CHARACTER: Fehn figure and poses by Nursoda; 4 CeaZuns and 4 Elements outfits and hair (and male morph) by PixPax; some skin textures by PixPax and some by me.

What a fun scene! I hope they all get along :)

Some of them are a little annoyed at or exasperated with each other (or at least that's what I tried to convey with expressions), but deep down there's only love :-)

Lovely work!

so much fun!! SO many polys and pixels!!

And a whole heckuva lot of conforming items, which is what seems to slow down my computer the most (while posing, not while rendering). But a good time was had by all, even the pixels :-)

Oooh! That is fun for the eye; very well worth viewing at full resolution. I love the variation so that each seems an individual even though there's only one base mesh being used. I'm beginning to believe that I MUST get some of Nursoda's work into my library. Thank you for sharing, Amy!

Thanks so much for the comment, Molly! I tried to make them look like individuals, but I probably could've done even more with some of the facial morphs that came with the figure. I used poses that came with Fehn b/c Nursoda does such great (if often goofy) poses for his characters. Fehn is one of my favorite of his characters, and Vila is another, and I've used them together as a couple by scaling Vila up by about 250%. But really all his characters are a delight to work with and come loaded with their own clothing, poses, and expressions. Definitely recommended!

Amazingly realistic poses & expressions on these groups! They really look like they are engaged in conversation!

Thank you so much for the comment! I used the poses that come with Fehn as a starting point, since they're so expressive, and I think I also used a few of the expressions that come with the figure too. But it was fun tweaking some expressions to convey the various emotions that come with family interactions :-)

Nice scene and composition. Something about the posing - body language doesn't look quite right.

I used the poses that came with Fehn b/c Nursoda does such a great job of conveying goofy but expressive body language! They're meant to be stylized, not "realistic."

Fascinating family indeed. 😃

Thanks! I would love to overhear what they're saying :-)

Wonderful characters. Love the interactions and posing

Thanks for the comment! As I was working with them, I couldn't help but imagine the various conversations. The Element on the far left is clearly telling some kind of tall tale, the Ceazun in the middle, with dark red hair, is just not impressed with whatever the Air Element is saying, and the Ceazun on the right in the green dress is evidently complaining about something on her face... again :-)

The names maked me laugh out loud - and they all look their very best! Loving this - and thank you for using my stuff!
