Description
Apologies for another long hiatus. I was really stumped with the plot and how to introduce the new characters, then once that was decided , a little over-ambitious with the scene building resulting a a lot of failed renders and rethinking.
Anyhow, now done and so hopefully the pace will pick up again now... Hope you enjoy it.

I'm not sure I can understand what the creatures say..."you're real adventure has not started yet"...i'd say the best is yet to come...when I thought this image was the best one !

I used a distorted font to hint at an alien language... it is morphed from a latin alphabet so if you look closely, you might be able to make it out... some letters work better than others... for example the second word is fairly easy too distinguish as "you..." Though I've just noticed the flying figure's text is mistakenly in lower case which is harder to decipher, so I'll update that...

I see why you were nominated for these Joe, this is so beautifully done. Graphically it's so eye catching and the colours are wonderful! Then you read the story and it draws you right in. I wonder if you've ever considered publishing these. Great work! :)

I do like the idea of publishing these at some point, though looking back to the beginning of vol1, I may need to tweak some panels as the early layouts are a little basic..
Having said that, publishing is costly unless I stick to digital only. I don't want to fall into the same trap I did with my first (and only) album, where I was left with a case box of 100 expensive CDs rotting away, as all the sales were on itunes... 😆
