I've fallen seriously behind, Barb, which I regret. (Health issues dribbling in week after week...) But I've been enthralled with what you've posted. Calico jester is one of our truly sensitive members, with some beautiful visions and a lot of poetry too. The photo definitely looks like one of his...lush, rich, mysterious...and you've turned it into a dream, while the textures are almost incised, and the dark shadows suggest a very private place. (Well cemeteries aren't exactly sports arenas...) I love your ghosts...they have such pomp and grace, and yet they're very haunting---in part because of their very formal attire (the woman on the right looks like she's at a wedding, and the one in the center looks like 18th C royalty. Yet, here they are: ghosts wafting through this imbued place. You used mist too---I don't know how one does that in mixed media, but it makes this a place feel filled with spirits. And the fence---which you added, accdg to the credits---encloses the whole pic, as if we're peeking in through a hole. (The women seem to have spotted us.) Beautiful and mystical. You're really exploring mystical realms in your gallery. Beautiful work, Barb.
