Description
Just a couple of panda people, heading out to a black tie event, like they do… :-)
==AMY’S NOTES==
More fun with Sparky’s morphs! I had originally pictured them in some kind of swanky setting, until I realized I don’t have a swanky setting, so it was Lully’s Dome to the rescue! Actually, I do have a swanky setting, Winterblack Gallery, but it’s so fancy that it deserves to be the subject of a scene all on its own. I’m coming to realize that may be the case for a lot of the architecture I’ve collected.
I was surprised to discover that I don’t have a suitable purse for a dress like this! Hmm, future modeling challenge, perhaps.
Rendered in March 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11.3 for Mac at 3200 × 1800 pixels. View full size on my blog.

Yin and Yang! What a very happy and wonderful looking couple! Would be fun to know them! Excellent work on this one! Many fine a joyful accolades from me!

Thanks for the comment! I'd love to hear what they're talking about, but I suspect it's just the same old stuff regular fancy folk discuss on the way to fancy events :-) Perhaps the Mrs. is recounting the trials and tribulations of getting her nails done before the gala!
kelchris3
Wonderful couple!! I love that dome set. I have it and have used it numerous times.
mazzam
Very nice.
CoolDimension
They look like they are having a great time! Beautiful image and work!

Ha, great scene. I know what you mean, about to finish a scene and runtime not having what you need at that moment. I can see penguins walking around serving champagne and horderves.
perpetualrevision
Thanks for the comment! Ha ha -- I can totally see penguins walking around carrying trays!! :-)
MeInOhio
Very cute. The starry background really adds an element!
perpetualrevision
Thanks for the comment! It took a while to find settings for the background that the black and white figures wouldn't just blend into, but I think this one worked! Definitely makes them look like they're somewhere fancy, even if it's not anywhere in particular :-)

This is super cute and kind of like a scary dream all at the same time. Love it

Thanks for the comment, which made me laugh out loud! Imagine how the folks at the black tie event felt when these two showed up :-)

Delightful scene of the Panda couple! Love how everything is coordinated. I don't know about you, but I am often missing that one specific thing (like the beer coasters, hahaah) and as in RL, I always find out that I actually DID have it in my runtime once I am finished and I am looking for something else for a new render, lol!

Thank you for the comment! I suspect I will eventually run across the right kind of purse for this scene. I try to tag the PNGs of all my props with helpful keywords that will help me find them in the future, but purses are tricky b/c they go by so many names, and I couldn't remember which tag I might've used. I also tried searching for purse, handbag, pocketbook, etc. and didn't find anything of the right style. I did find a clutch that might've worked, but I didn't want to put something in her hand once I'd gotten them posed with such expressiveness! I suppose I could've brought the clutch into my modeler and added a strap. Maybe next time!

Dang! I must make some use of that nice Dome prop set (and several hundred thousand other nice bits in my library). XD Although I find Sparky's bears and other human/animal hybrids a bit creepy this is a really lovely picture. Maybe I just find pandas intrinsically cute? =)
Thank you for sharing, Amy. I always look forward to viewing your work!

Thanks for the comment, Molly! Yeah, Sparky's anthro morphs are a bit creepy. I didn't like them at first, but as I saw others use them, they grew on me, esp. the bears and hare, which are the only two I have. I also have some of RawArt's morphs for Gen4, like Grebloids, Lizardians, Grimlens, etc., but those make the figures look like completely different species, whereas Sparky's morphs are still human... ish! I'm enjoying using them with some of my vast collection of Gen4 clothing, just for something a little different :-)
Radar_rad-dude
Well, could it be possible that he is just pandering to her every whim? LOL! And again, a most excellent work and fine idea with a most fantastic result! Many many more kudos from me!

Pandering... good one! I also like rps53's "Panda-monium"! Thanks for the fun comments :-)

All dressed up & nowhere to go was my first thought when I started reading what you wrote, but this setting really does work! I love this Panda couple!
perpetualrevision
That is indeed how I felt once I got them all dressed and posed and realized I didn't have the kind of background I'd been imagining! I have SO MANY background prop sets that I was sure I had something... but nothing quite fancy enough for these two, although the fancy dome works well enough :-) Thanks for the comment!

I love the humour in this. Reminds me of many years ago when I dressed one of my dragons in a pink basque !
perpetualrevision
Thanks for the comment, Gill! I'd love to see a dressed-up dragon! Is that one still in your gallery?
daggerwilldo
Adorable and oh so fun.

Thanks! I especially like her fancy red nail polish :-)
