Description
Tiny invites all his friends to enjoy his tree swing. He just doesn’t tell them about the eject button.
(Thankfully they do survive the fall, but afterwards they trust Tiny just the tiniest bit less, which is really to their benefit.)
==AMY’S NOTES==
I wanted to use 1971s’ Childhood Island for some kind of sweet kid-on-a-swing scene, but then I realized the swing doesn’t move. So I separated it from the set using Poser’s Grouping Tool and adjusted the new prop’s origin so that it would swing from the top. But by the time I rotated the swing backwards, Tiny had put more sinister notions into my head, and thus Bubbles became the unfortunate victim of Tiny’s Tree of Terror.
I resisted the temptation to pull the swing into my modeler to make the rope curve more naturally, something I could not manage with the tools inside Poser, but I think that might’ve made the swing look a bit more malevolent!
Rendered in March 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11.3 for Mac at 2048 × 1152 pixels. Art effects applied in Painnt. View full size on my blog.

I have Tiny in my runtime, some textures dont work. Your image is a charmer.
perpetualrevision
I wonder if you have the first version? I have the "2.0" version, and maybe that's why there is one: to fix the texture problem? You should get a free upgrade, in that case, IMO :-) I've used Tiny several times recently in his default brownish texture b/c I forgot that he came with others!

Ah yes! The Terrors of Tiny! A legend in his own mind! LOL! He does look quite mischievous! A fun and splendid image! Most delightful viewing!
perpetualrevision
I believe you nailed it: he's a legend in his own mind, and only there! ;-) I'm sure Bubbles was a little sore afterwards (in body and spirit), but he's a forgiving sort... possibly to his detriment, if he's going to remain friends with Tiny! Thanks for another fun comment :-)

Oh that Tiny!!! Sneaky little bugger. Wonderful image.
perpetualrevision
He is just too much fun to play with. The things he comes up with!! 😲 I just recently remembered I have other textures for him, so now of course he wants to get together with some siblings for even more mischief. This might be a good time for Bubbles and friends to take a vacation :-)

Nice scene! The sun looks like it just peak from behind a cloud to see what Tiny was up to!
perpetualrevision
Thanks for the comment! I'm afraid if the sun peeked out to see what Tiny was up to, it probably ducked right back behind a cloud and shook its head :-)

Wonderful scene and posing work!
perpetualrevision
Thanks! These figures can be a bit of a pain to pose, but their cuteness compels me to keep at it :-)
RubyTuesday70
hahaha , amusing little story and fun render!!! I love their expressions!!!
perpetualrevision
These figures don't come with much in the way of expression morphs, so it's an interesting challenge to try and convey their emotions with what's available. I'm glad it worked out in this image! But dang, if I could sculpt, I totally would've made Tiny a "whistling" mouth morph :-)
TwiztidKidd
LOL! I wasn’t ready for this... You are so incredibly talented and you have a wonderful sense of humor!
perpetualrevision
Ha!! Sounds like you were about as caught off guard as Bubbles was :-) Thanks so much for the kind comments!

LOL, Booby trapping a swing. Love the look on his face. Fun image :)
perpetualrevision
Only Tiny would think of doing such a thing, right? Thanks for the comment!

Sneaky little guy but fun story and image!

I love 1971s' stuff but I have to admit that having none of it rigged can be a nudge. You did a nice job of working around that here! As for the picture, the best part of the image is the innocent, "What?" expression on Tiny. XD Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the comment, Molly! I've had to pick apart a fair number of 1971s props to make doors and windows open (using the Grouping Tool to spawn the prop and the Joint Editor to move the origin), and it's not that hard, since the items are usually easy to isolate in the Grouping Tool, but still... I do wish he would do those things before packaging items for sale! I also wish he'd include his promo light sets with the models (or at least plain point lights in all the fixtures). But I have over 170 of his sets, so clearly I'm still willing to buy them regardless b/c they I just love their style :-) (I do use a script to fix all his materials, since they come w/o any specular.)

Prepare for launch...launch initiated...landing is imminent.

And Tiny had nothing to do with it. That's his story and he's sticking to it :-) Thanks for the fun comment!

Very cute image, i like your painted images. They are very beautiful my friend.
perpetualrevision
Thank you so much, Inawati! I do love these painted art effects, esp. on renders like this one. It was cute w/o it, but I love how the art effect rendered the sky and gave it more of a fantasy feel :-)
Flint_Hawk
This looks like a typical childish prank! It does make one wonder how we survived childhood!
A very imaginative & well-done idea!
perpetualrevision
Maybe we wouldn't have if we'd had friends like Tiny! He's fully grown, but apparently only in body, not so much in mind :-) Thanks for the comment!
UteBigSmile
Thank's for the needed smile, love your funnny looks image a lot!
perpetualrevision
Thanks, Ute! Glad I was able to bring you a smile :-)
